Installation Instructions

Invite the bot and grant it access to your Discord server: [ Invite Link ]

If you want the bot to post regular trivia entries to a particular channel:

• Decide what channel the bot will be posting to
• Enssure that the bot has sufficient access rights to post in that channel
• As a moderator or admin of the Discord server, execute the "/itw_add" and provide the channel that it should be posting to. If you want to provide a different time interval for updates (default is every 6 horus), do that as well.

List of available commands

Regular text channels:

/itw_add : Add channel to the bot for regular updates. Requires moderator or admin access.

• "channel" : (Optional) The channel to add the bot to. Default is the current channel.
• "interval" : (Optional) The frequency to post updates in the channel, in hours. Zero disables posting. By default, posts every 6 hours.

/itw_remove : Removes channel from the bot's regular updates. Requires moderator or admin access.

• "channel" : (Optional) The channel to remove the bot from. Default is the current channel.

/itw_interval : Set the frequency of updates, in hours. Requires moderator or admin access.

• "channel" : (Optional) The channel to modify the interval on. Default is the current channel.
• "interval" : (Optional) The frequency to post updates in the channel, in hours. Zero disables posting. By default, posts every 6 hours.

/itw_submit : Submit a movie suggestion to the bot. *NOTE*: This command (1) checks if the entry already exists in our table, and (2) if it doesn't it adds it to a queue that we check periodically. It does not guarantee inclusion in the randomized list any time soon.

• "name" : The movie title to suggest.

/itw_query : Query the entry database to see if an entry exists

• "query" : The query text

/itw_random : Generate a random trivia question on the fly.

• "type" : (Optional) A comma-separated list of the type of entry to display. Could be "BOOK", "SONG", or "MOVIE". By default, it's all three.

Direct Message commands

These messages only function if you message the bot directly.

!add [interval] : Add DM channel to the bot for regular updates.
